Nitrogen Receiver

Nitrogen Receiver

Introduction

A Nitrogen Receiver is a specialized pressure vessel designed for the safe storage and stabilization of nitrogen gas in both industrial and commercial applications. Our nitrogen receivers are engineered to handle high-pressure nitrogen storage , maintain constant flow, reduce load on nitrogen generators or cylinder banks, and ensure uninterrupted nitrogen supply for critical processes. Built in strict compliance with ASME Sec VIII Div.1, PED, or IS 2825 standards, our nitrogen receivers offer exceptional strength, leak-tightness, and long-term durability under continuous operation.

What is a Nitrogen Receiver?

A Nitrogen Receiver is a buffer storage vessel that stores nitrogen gas at high pressures (up to 250 bar, depending on the application). It helps ensure smooth, reliable nitrogen supply across various industrial operations.

Functions

  • Stabilizing nitrogen supply pressure
  • Reducing cycling frequency of nitrogen generators
  • Providing reserve nitrogen during peak demand
  • Protecting downstream systems from pressure fluctuations
  • Ensuring reliable and consistent nitrogen delivery

Functional Advantages:
  • Stable Nitrogen Supply: Acts as a buffer to ensure steady nitrogen flow even during fluctuating demand.
  • Peak Load Support: Provides reserve nitrogen during sudden high consumption, protecting nitrogen generators or cylinders.
  • Reduced Generator Cycling: Minimizes start-stop cycling in PSA nitrogen generators, increasing equipment lifespan.
  • Pressure Regulation: Maintains uniform system pressure, improving downstream equipment efficiency.
  • Energy Savings: Reduced load cycles lead to lower operating costs and longer equipment life.
  • Moisture & Impurity Reduction: Slight cooling inside the vessel promotes natural removal of moisture or fine particles (when paired with proper drain systems).
