What is a Multimedia Filter Pressure Vessel?

A multimedia filter vessel uses multiple layers of filtration media with varying particle sizes and densities to capture suspended solids effectively. Water or liquid enters the vessel, passes through the layered media bed, and emerges as clarified water.

Key components include:

Vertical or horizontal cylindrical pressure vessel

Top distributor and under-drain system for uniform flow
